review: rodarte for target

While there were a lot of mixed reviews for Laura and Kate Mulleavy’s collection for retail giant Target, I found the collection to be well executed. The mix of dresses, separates and swim made for something interesting yet wearable.  I loved the flirty, feminine flair that everything had. And as you may know, I am a sucker for a girly bow- so obviously, the collection had me swooning. I was really excited for the tights and knee-highs but have been unable to find them at any of the stores in my area.

I ended up purchasing the black dress with bows at the shoulder (of course) and wore it on Christmas Eve with a great necklace from local designer Tracy Bennett for Scout Vintage.

Target is doing a great job of partnering with top designers to make collections for the masses. I am anxiously awaiting the upcoming Gaultier and Posen collections!
