mcqueen for target: a disappointment for those not in an 80s punk cover band?

So McQueen debuted on Target.com today, and was released in-stores a few days ahead of schedule, because evidently setting dates for sales do not really matter. Anyway. It is only available at a handful of area Target stores and is already sold out on Nicollet Mall and Roseville. SO, good luck [unless you shop online]. As of 11:57 p.m. CST, the item that seems to be the most coveted, the zig-zag print dress, is still available online. The only other thing I really would want from the collection, besides said dress, would be a pair of the zipper leggings [see below]. But zipper leggings for $30 just for the McQ? I am not sure how I feel about that. I do love the dress [see below], but I am not sure about whether or not it would be a wise wardrobe investment.

On the other hand, there is a leather pencil skirt for the same price at UO right now, that I think I would rather have after seeing the FW trends for fall thus far. Thoughts on McQueen? Thoughts on what I should invest in?

if the Urban Outfitters skirt is real leather, that’s pretty inexpensive. Def go with the skirt. It’s cuter. And yes, I have been disappointed with McQ since they showed early pictures of his collection. Was hoping they would look better in person. Wrong.
